We can work with you to make a new entrance, shelter or porch leading into your house. Something to run your hand over everytime you leave and return.

Get in touch with us and we will discuss design, timber types and dimensions, getting an understanding of the space and your requirements. We will probably need to come and take very accurate dimensions before we commence.

A project like this uses long lengths of timber, and some we’ll char for extra durabiliy. We may have some pieces of seasoned wood in our store for this, but if its a bigger project we will have to select trees, mill, air-dry and follow a slow but special process through to a finished product. So get in touch with us early on! We will take a deposit when you commission us, a further payment during construction and a final payment when the project is complete.

We will use Scottish Douglas Fir, grown in the Highlands and millied on the croft for this project. This is very resilient, but can also be treated with oil if you wish.
